End-of-Lease / Bond Clean Checklist
The End-of-Lease Clean is a comprehensive, restorative service designed to meet the strictest Real Estate Agent standards for a successful bond return. This service includes all aspects of a Deep Clean plus mandatory bond-specific detailing, delivered using our effective, low-toxic product range.
All Living Areas & Bedrooms (Mandatory Bond Focus)
Intensive Detailing: All accessible surfaces, fixtures, fittings, and décor are dusted and wiped.
Detailed Surfaces: All skirting boards are hand-wiped. All internal door frames and surfaces are cleaned to remove fingerprints and dust build-up.
Wall Cleaning: Spot cleaning of marks and scuffs on accessible wall surfaces. (Please note: Heavy, widespread wall washing is an excluded item unless quoted separately).
Windows: Interior cleaning of all accessible window glass and intensive scrubbing of window sills and tracks to remove dirt build-up.
Cupboards/Wardrobes: All fixed shelving, drawers, and interiors of built-in wardrobes are emptied, wiped down, and cleaned.
Floor Care: Floors are vacuumed to the edges and under accessible furniture. Hard floors are mopped with detailed attention to corners.
Bins: All interior bins are cleaned (not just emptied).
Kitchen (Essential Bond Requirements)
Appliances (Critical): Oven interior and exterior cleaning (including trays, racks, and glass door) is included. Rangehood filters and surfaces are degreased, and the stovetop is thoroughly cleaned.
Cabinets: All exterior and interior cupboard and drawer fronts are fully wiped down (must be emptied by the client).
Surfaces: Benchtops and splashbacks are cleaned, sanitised, and polished.
Alpine Difference: Detailed degreasing and scrubbing of grout lines and cleaning of all light switches/power points and accessible tiled surfaces in the kitchen.
Bathrooms & Toilets (Full Restoration)
Full Descaling: Comprehensive cleaning, descaling, and intensive scrubbing of shower recesses, screens, and fixtures to remove heavy soap scum and mineral deposits.
Vents & Fixtures: Full dust and wipe of exhaust fan covers and vents.
Grout: Intensive, detailed grout scrubbing in all tiled areas to address discolouration.
Vanity: Detailed cleaning and sanitisation of accessible vanity cabinet interiors (must be emptied by the client).
Alpine Difference: Detailed cleaning of all chrome fittings and pipes behind the toilet and under the vanity.
Laundry & Hallways
Cupboards: Interior and exterior of all fixed cabinetry and linen cupboards are wiped down.
Laundry Tub: Tub, tapware, and surrounding tiled area are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
Exclusions (Important Note)
This intensive service excludes items requiring external professionals or specific equipment, which must be addressed separately: Exterior window cleaning, carpet steam cleaning, cleaning of furnishings, upholstery, or curtains, removal of rubbish/waste left on the property, and heavy-duty ceiling cleaning.
Approximate Cleaning Duration Guidelines (End-of-Lease / Bond Clean)
These figures represent the approximate hours required for a Full End-of-Lease Clean. Given the complexity and detail required by real estate agents, these are our longest estimates.
1 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom Unit: Expect 4.0 – 5.5 hours.
2 Bedroom / 1-2 Bathroom Home: Expect 5.5 – 7.5 hours.
3 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom Home: Expect 7.5 – 10.0 hours.
4 Bedroom / 2+ Bathroom Home: Expect 10.0 – 13.0+ hours.
Important Note: Bond Cleans are subject to the condition of the property. The final time and cost will be confirmed based on a brief initial assessment. We offer a re-clean guarantee within 48 hours for any agent-identified omissions on our checklist.
